If you're an expert in tractor trailer trucks, please answer this question. I want to reconstruct the Mack Superliner from Mighty Machines At the Demolition Site for MMD, but what is that tank cylinder mounted on the back just behind the cab just over the drop axle? It isn't a reefer tank or a propane tank, but it's there for a reason. Mack Superliner tank1.jpg Mack Superliner tank2.jpg

I would assume (but you know what they say about that) that it is a Hydraulic tank and hoses for either a pump trailer or something along that line

You might be right. Because Mack is towing a dump trailer. And it was during 1994 that this MM Ep was made, so it would make sense that the hydraulic tank be placed there as the drop axle is occupying that area. But I'm convinced there could be more to it than meets the eye. Because semi dump trucks today (at least the ones I observed) don't have that tank.
